Adobe Acrobat

Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free software application that lets you view and print Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files.

 
To view and print the online version of our forms and guides, you will need Version 3.0 or newer.
 
If you already have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, clicking on any of the form or document names will open the form or document in your browser window. You will be able to save documents to your computer from within the browser.
 
Acrobat can be downloaded free from Adobe’s website.
 
 
Flash Player
 
Abobe Flash Player is a free software application that allow you to view flash videos.  On most computers, Flash automatically upgrades itself to the latest version.  If you're having trouble, removing and re-installing Flash will often help. We recommend running a Flash remover first, as having multiple copies of Flash installed can cause conflicts.

Turning off style sheets

Skilshighway.govt.nz is aware that some users may experience contrast issues.   We suggest turning off style sheets in your browser to see a text-only version of this site.

How to turn off style sheets

  • IE: Tools > Internet options > Accessibility
     

  • Firefox: View > Page style > No style
     

  • Opera: View > Style > User mode
     

  • Safari (Mac): No option available
     

  • Google Chrome: No option available

 Change text sizes
You may be able to increase the size of the text on screen.

  • Internet Explorer 5.5+
    Select the 'View' menu, then 'Text Size', and then your chosen size (or if you have a mouse wheel simply hold down CTRL and roll the mouse wheel to alter the text size).

  • Firefox 1.0+
    Select the 'View' menu, then 'Text Size', and then select decrease or increase. Alternatively select CTRL + + or CTRL + -. If you have a mouse wheel, simply hold down CTRL and roll the mouse wheel to alter the text size.

  • Opera 7.0+
    Select the 'View' menu, then 'Zoom', and then select the percentage increase or decrease you require. Alternatively select CTRL + + or CTRL + -.

  • Safari 1.2+ (Mac)
    Select the 'View' menu, then 'Make Text Bigger' or 'Make Text Smaller'. Alternatively select ? + + or ? + -

  • Google Chrome 1.0+
    Select the page menu at the top right, then 'Zoom', then 'Larger' or 'Smaller'. Alternatively select CTRL + + or CTRL + -. If you have a mouse wheel, simply hold down CTRL and roll the mouse wheel to alter the text size.
